Security & data

Your members’ data, treated like it matters.

You don’t need a compliance annex — you need to know where your data lives, who can see it, and whether you can walk away with it. Plain-English answers below; direct answers to anything we haven’t covered.

The questions that matter

What a gym owner actually asks.

Where is my data?

In the UK. Your gym’s data is kept separately from other gyms’ — it isn’t blended into one big pool with everyone else’s members.

Can I get it out?

Yes — a complete export of your data, whenever you want it, not just when you leave. And leaving is allowed to be easy: billing is monthly with no minimum term, so the export is a right, not a negotiation.

Is it encrypted?

Connections between browsers, member apps and the platform are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) — the same protection your bank uses for traffic in transit.

Who can see it?

Staff access is account-based — every member of your team gets their own login, and you control who has access. GymFront’s own access is limited to what’s needed to operate and support the service.

What about backups and failures?

Backups and recovery are part of operating the platform. For the specifics that matter to you — how often, how they’re tested — ask us directly and we’ll walk you through it, rather than hide behind a badge. We’d rather answer the hard questions than publish something vague.

What happens if I leave?

You take a complete export of your data with you, and we delete your gym’s data on request. Your members are yours, not ours.

What certifications do you hold?

We don’t wave certificates we don’t hold. If security is on your due-diligence list, bring the hard questions — you’ll get direct answers from the people who run the platform, not a compliance page written to end the conversation.

How do I report a concern?

Email solomon.bryans@tmtsoftware.co.uk. A real person reads it — if you think you’ve found a security problem, we want to hear about it directly.

The next step

Bring the hard questions.

Put them to the people who run the platform. If we can’t answer something to your satisfaction, you’ll know before you’ve signed anything.
